Speak to the Situation - Part 3
You can be a believer and yet not have repented. Repentance means a complete U-turn from your former direction to the way of God. The word says repent and believe i.e., implying that they are two different and separate things. These days, many people believe, but don't repent. When they tell you they are coming, they are actually going. Such people are hard to pastor.
These are the end times. The speed with which God is doing things in the present age is so fast that if you aren't sensitive to the Spirit, you will miss out. Everything you believe God for now is already given to you. That is to say you can receive anything you want from God.
God has given you words to speak to every mountain, every situation, and every sickness - and to poverty as well. We are to study the word to know what to say to every situation. You need to pray old things out and new things into your life.
A spiritual man looks out for new things. When you buy new shoes they tend to feel cramped. You might be tempted to go back to your comfortable old shoes. But the new is better. Don't be fooled. Likewise with spiritual things. The things we don't see have lasting effect. They are eternal.
We need to take stock. In terms of working with God, our financial affairs, out family matters - how much have you accomplished this year? You need to understand the reason for your existence. A man who understands his purpose will never lose spiritual insight. Have a clear understanding of what you want to accomplish.
Every leader needs to be able and ready to minister at every opportunity.
There is nothing prayer cannot accomplish. Firstly it prepares you. Next it changes your situation. If you want to see revival you've got to pray in your house. People need to get healed. Set free. Delivered. God will release the anointing and glorify his name. Say something to the situation.
What are the signs that testify to you being true believers:
· Believers come to church on time
· Believers love the word of God
· Believers love to fellowship with other believers
· Believers love to pray and worship God
· Believers are givers. They love to give to the advancement of Gods kingdom.
· Believers love God. They delight to be in his presence and relate to him.
