Getting an Uncommon Breakthrough
There is a shift in the spirit.
Getting an uncommon breakthrough requires you to become an uncommon person and walk in the power of divine combination
Utilising the power of divine combination will enable you to rise above where the common people are. This is not to belittle or look down on the common people, but rather to choose to rise above the level of a common man or woman, in the sense of becoming excellent in all the things you do.
The Word of God in Proverbs 24:10 says, "If you faint in the day of adversity, your strength is small". There are many attacks we face as we pass through life, especially as Christians.
If you hold on to the principle, your life will change. Great people are never satisfied with little. Just about 170 years ago, in 1833, the slave trade was abolished. How did this come about? William Wilberforce and two others heard a message preached in church that changed their lives. Because of the message they heard, they decided a change was needed in the political system if slavery was to be eradicated. They decided to use their power as MP's to work strenuously towards this, and eventually passed a motion which outlawed slavery. This in effect was what stopped the slave trade.
Today, there is nowhere the abolition of the slave trade is spoken of that the name of Wilberforce is not mentioned. But think about it. Many people (Christians) heard the same message in church on that same day over 170 years ago but did nothing about it. William and his colleagues were uncommon people.
When David was near to death and lying on his deathbed 2 Samuel 23:1-39 he recalled the heroism of his mighty men in the days of old. He recalled where in the midst of battle, parched and thirsty, he cried out and said "Oh that one would give me drink of the water of the well of Bethlehem, which is by the gate!" that 3 mighty men fought through the enemy lines to bring him water from the well. He did not drink the water, but poured it out as an offering to the Lord.
