Getting an Uncommon Breakthrough - Part 4

Jeremiah said to God "You have deceived me" and refused to preach anymore, but the fire was in his bones so he had to continue. One who is uncommon, never looks at what other people do. What is your calling and responsibility? We are made for greatness. God instructs us in his word to redeem the time. We should note that in instructing us, he is also reminding us that time has been wasted. God says he will do a quick work. We need to work hard, but he will help us.

What is God doing now? There is a shift in the spirit. Many of the great men of God have passed away recently including Kenneth Hagin and Derek Prince. Uncommon and unknown men and women of God are about to enter the stage.

David was an uncommon messenger. Sent by his father to his brothers, his instructions were simple - Go to your brothers, give them food, come back home. On reaching the army he found them all terrified and held to ransom by the giant Goliath who challenged them to single combat daily.

David did not bother asking how Goliath could be killed. He knew and was confident that he could kill Goliath; rather, he merely asked what reward would be given to the man who overcame him. He recognised the insults of Goliath and chose to do something about him.

With a loud voice he proclaimed himself able to take on Goliath. Those around him were amazed at his bravery or effrontery and he was taken to Saul, the king. No one believed him but he gave testimony of his accomplishments with the help of God. They dressed him up in protective armour but he was so encumbered he couldn't move and dispensed with it. Rather he chose to use an uncommon method to dispatch Goliath - five stones. Does that remind you of the 5 pulpit gifts God is restoring to the church! He overcame Goliath by the power of God he believed in.

Uncommon people solve problems. They don't need to be told what to do. We are close to the end times. There is something happening in the spirit realms. You need to do something. You need to be an uncommon brother or sister armed with the word of God.
