Getting an Uncommon Breakthrough - Part 3

One thing that will help you to excel is to take a decision never to say anything is impossible. Jesus clearly tells us that "With men this is impossible; but with God all things are possible" Matthew 19:26. Hence Jesus could ask God in the Garden of Gethsemane to spare him the agony of death on the cross - why? Because he knew it was possible for God to find another way to save mankind - if it so pleased him.

The power of divine combination is so great. 1 Corinthians 13 talks of faith, hope and charity.

For you to make a mark, you must be different. If you want to be an uncommon person, your yardstick cannot be that of waiting to see what other people do before you take a decision.

Many women today imagine they would love to have been Mary, mother of Jesus. Children are delighted to be chosen to play the part of Mary in school plays; but they do not know what Mary herself went through. It was counted as adultery to be found to be pregnant while engaged to be married. In fact it carried a penalty of death by stoning if discovered. While for Joseph it was family shame for his fiancee to be found pregnant before marriage. There would have been tremendous pressure on him to divorce her, yet Joseph stood his ground because an angel spoke to him. There were many men in Israel yet God chose Joseph and there were many virgins in Israel, yet God chose Mary. Why? They were uncommon people.

When Jesus died in agony on the cross, crucifixion was counted a disgrace. It was a on wooden cross, outside the city, a lonely place to die. The cross was not a popular symbol then. Now many carry a cross of gold around their neck because of what he did. An uncommon man.

There is so much to be done in the body. Don't be small minded otherwise you won't excel. You need to be the one to make things happen. God is waiting on you to take a step. Be a giver. Don't care whether others give or not. Something good is going to happen in your life. Again I say, something good is going to happen in your life.
